Entrench a culture of structured and accurate reporting across all Public Entities (OMAs, RCs, LAs) and Public Enterprises (PEs), to foster public trust:

To foster public trust, HPPII will be entrenching a culture of accurate of structured and accurate reporting across all Public Entities by executing the following activities:

1. Revision & standardization of the form for Disclosure of Assets & Interests by POBs & senior Government officials for annual declaration.
2. 100% updated OMAs and PEs websites.
3. Tabling of OMA and PE audited Financial Reports in the National Assembly and disseminate to the public.

Sub Activity Description:

The Harambee Prosperity Plan II (2021-2025), under Pillar 1 - Effective Governance, Goal 1 - Accountability and Transparency calls for an entrenched culture of structured and accurate reporting across all Public Entities (OMAs, RCs, LAs) and Public entities (PEs) to foster Public trust. To achieve this, it is required that the existing declaration form for the engagement in remunerative work outside employment by staff members be reviewed and standardised.

Activity Progress

Tabling of OMA and PE audited Financial Reports in the National Assembly and disseminate to the public.

Sub Activity Description:

The aim is to convert the existing financial database or workbook with the collected financial information of all PEs into a web-based data bank with multi-user access. The financial data collected forms the basis for the reform agreements with the individual state enterprises.
